Our Story

A Different Way of Managing Property

Groundstay was created from direct experience — as owners, operators, and managers who saw how easily property management becomes impersonal as businesses scale.
We believed there was room for a different approach. One where owners remain close to their property, decisions are transparent, and management feels like a partnership rather than a service.

We didn’t set out to build a large management company. We set out to build a better one.

We began with a small number of properties and a clear philosophy: manage fewer homes, but manage them properly. Early on, we saw how often owners felt disconnected; unclear reporting, rotating contacts, generic processes, and decisions made without context. Over time, this distance erodes trust.Rather than building a large operation focused on volume, Groundstay grew carefully. Each new property was added only when we were confident we could maintain the same level of involvement, oversight, and communication.

Our Values

  • We value transparency over scale.
  • We value consistency over speed.
  • We value long-term partnerships over short-term growth.

These principles guide how we work — and which properties we choose to manage.

Looking Ahead

Groundstay continues to grow carefully, guided by the same principles it started with. We remain focused on building long-term relationships with owners who value clarity, involvement, and professional stewardship of their property.

Our team is made up of individuals with more than 15 years of hands-on experience across both long-term and short-term property management.
We have operated homes through different market cycles, guest profiles, and ownership structures — and we understand where systems fail, where communication breaks down, and where performance is quietly lost.

We are direct, detail-driven, and demanding of our own standards. Every property we manage is treated as an asset that deserves active oversight, clear decisions, and accountability at every level. Our focus is not simply to operate homes, but to protect value, improve performance, and build relationships that last.
